We stand out from the rest by specializing in hand-picked, boutique hotels, unique experiences for travelers and a high level of customer service. The role of the In Travel & Quality Specialist is to run Quality Checks on all bookings prior to travel, work with our international DMC (local) suppliers and our American Travel Agent customers to ensure all components of the trips go smoothly for the customer and to find solutions for any problems that may arise during their trip. We want to hear from you if you like working in a fun and fast paced environment, enjoy solving problems and communicating in English with customers both by email and telephone and can deal with customers in a calm reassuring way. Responsibilities Confirm components of the travel itinerary using the company in-house system. Monitor and quality control components of the travel itinerary. Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by the team supervisors. Contact travel agents regarding any changes to travel itineraries and communicate options for alternative product choices when hotels and tours are no longer available. Professionally and calmly answer telephone calls received on the emergency In-Travel line and assist the Travel Agent to find the best solutions for the customers. Work closely with the local suppliers in different countries to resolve customer issues that arise while customers are traveling. Keep track, monitor, and appropriately follow up on bookings that are experiencing issues while in-travel. Maintain good relationships with local suppliers and ensure they provide services in line with company guidelines. Work with Product, Operations and Accounting Departments in our US office to resolve errors as they occur. Provide an excellent level of service and collaboration to our customers, both internal and external. Other duties as assigned
Requisitos : Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Are a team-player, work efficiently, are detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. Have demonstrated a professional attitude with a positive, upbeat, and friendly personality. Are proficient working in different computer programs such as MS Word, Outlook, and Excel. Creative thinking with the ability to effectively identify and solve problems as they occur. Have excellent problem solving, complaint resolution, organizational skills, and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines Can adapt to changing policy and product in a fast-paced, performance-driven culture Have demonstrated exceptional habits of dependability and attendance Are available for overtime hours when needed.
